Crooked Crow — keyboards, back-up vox

From 2009 to early 2011, I played keys and sang backup vox with NoVA band Crooked Crow which has performed up and down the East Coast for more than a decade.  I helped flesh out their guitar-based sound and add a little piano or Wurly warmth where needed.  I now count talented frontman and songwriter Bruce Parker and his family as good friends.

During my time with the band, we played Jammin’ Java and the 9:30 club as well as clubs further North: Irving Plaza, the Bitter End, The Saint, and the Middle East.  We had the honor of collaborating with awesome acts like Cowboy Mouth, the Dreamscapes Project (DC), and The Energy (Brooklyn).  An unforgettable experience!

We also released the album “Just Off Seven” in 2010.  Crooked Crow just finished another studio album which should be out some time in 2012.
